Hero Balakrishna has not had a good run in 2008. his first film Okkamogadu bombed at the box office. His second film Pndurangadu directed by K Raghavendra Rao was a modest hit and it salvaged his reputation to an extent.
Balakrishna is now taking an active interest in politics and he is spending more time in the activities of the TDP. Balakrishna has also not ruled out playing an active role in the TDP and he is also likely to contest in the next elections.
Balakrishna is therefore keen to wrap his new film as early as possible. Mahadev is directing the film and Priyamani is the heroine. The film is progressing at a brisk pace and Balayya wants the film to be ready for release by April, in time for the elections.
