Shankar's magnum opus Endhiran had a shoot at the prestigious Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in Vellore.
The highly guarded shoot involved the lead pair of Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The scene involved Ash being wooed by Rajini in the movie. Aishwarya, apparently plays a college student in the movie and Rajinikanth plays a scientist and a robot.
The scene that was shot in the VIT campus involved Rajinikanth entering the college in a Benz car and blocking Aishwarya Rai and wooing her with his punchline comedy.
The crew shot in Vellore for a couple of days and it was then that Rajini spoke of his intention to look trim and fit to match Aishwarya.
So when Rajini was offered sweet delicacies like Makkan Beda a Vellore a Vellore delicacy he politely refused and said he was on a diet to keep himself fit!
